New Adventure Led To A Whole New Hobby

A few months ago, 2 of my cousins and I were looking for something new to try when we went on a trip to Colorado. We knew we’d do the typical hiking trips while we were there, but we wanted to do something we had never tried before. 

A colleague of mine was an avid fly fisherman, and took yearly trips to Colorado just to do that. He suggested that maybe we give it a try if we were looking to do something new. I thanked him for the idea and asked if he had any additional recommendations, like a specific place or anything that might help us go about doing it. 

He gave me a whole bunch of information on a place called Trouts Fly Fishing where we could rent everything we needed. He suggested hiring a guide as well. I presented all the information to my cousins and they were totally onboard. We were all excited to embark on this adventure. 

We made all the arrangements so we didn’t have to scramble at all when we arrived. Working with Trouts Fly Fishing was an absolute breeze and amazing for total beginners like us. They got everything ready and answered every question we had. 

We had a guide for our trip and had everything we needed to make our fly fishing experience smooth. We had an absolute blast together and found a new hobby that we each enjoyed. I couldn’t have been more satisfied with how every aspect of it it went. 

We couldn’t stop talking about how much fun we had, and how much we enjoyed our fly fishing experience. I told my colleague all about it and asked him if he did any local fly fishing. He told me that he in fact did fly fish locally as well, and gave me some information on where he did it. 

My cousins were interested in making this a regular occurrence. That’s how much we enjoyed ourselves. So we decided without hesitation that we were each going to buy our own fly fishing rods. We were all really happy with the one that we rented out in Colorado, so I called Trouts Fly Fishing to get information on what it was. 

They were super helpful and sent us the link to that specific fly fishing rod on their website. It turned out to be the G. Loomis IMX-PRO Fly Rod that we used in Colorado. We were all about ordering one for each of us. 

Once they arrived we got everything set up and took a day trip that was again, suggested by my colleague. It was a really nice spot and we were excited to really get going. It was a perfectly relaxing and enjoyable day. Our fly fishing rods were perfect, just as we had expected them to be. 

Now we all have a new hobby that we all really enjoy. Not to mention it gives us more of a reason to spend more time together. We’ve been going strong now for a couple of months and we couldn’t be happier.
